These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the AuditCheck website and the municipal billing audit, dispute and resolution services (the "Services") provided by AuditCheck ("we", "us", "our").
1. Engagement
An engagement for Services commences once we confirm your instruction in writing and any required documents (municipal statements, identification, proof of ownership or mandate) have been supplied.
2. Client responsibilities
You warrant that information and documentation supplied is accurate, that you are authorised to instruct us in respect of the relevant municipal account, and that you will settle undisputed portions of municipal accounts on time.
3. Fees
Fees are quoted per matter. Success-based fees, retainer fees and consultation fees are set out in the applicable proposal or engagement letter.
4. Limitation of liability
Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from the Services is limited to the fees paid by you to AuditCheck for the specific matter giving rise to the claim.
5. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
